Thrilled to share that I’ve been called back by McCorkle Casting for the role of Nate in the new play Amchitka by Mark St. Germain (Freud’s Last Session).
The production will be presented by Chester Theatre Company, directed by Julianne Boyd, founder of Barrington Stage Company, and with casting by Pat McCorkle of McCorkle Casting Ltd., known for Broadway and Off-Broadway projects including The Glass Menagerie and A Few Good Men.
Amchitka is a high-stakes story set on an isolated nuclear test site. Three scientists find themselves stranded as communications fail and seismic activity grows. As news unfolds of an asteroid that mysteriously vanishes and an alien intelligence reveals itself, the team must face personal and existential decisions.
I’m called back for NATE, a sarcastic, know-it-all science nerd with sharp humor and grounded intelligence. He’s intellectually curious, highly capable, and quick with witty banter, yet able to pivot into moments of awe and existential fear. Nate combines trustworthiness with playful confidence — the kind of emotionally layered character I’m drawn to.
