Projects

You write in order to change the world… The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even but a millimeter the way people look at reality, then you can change it.

A playful mash-up of Charlie Chaplin and Harold and the Purple Crayon, Chalk is a goofy testament to the power of a childlike imagination, and a moving exploration of the adult search for romantic love and connection.

Alex created & hosts the podcast Stop Waiting Tables, an interview show where he has candid conversations with artists about making art and making a living.

The objective of the show is to expand the conversation about how artists support themselves: presenting opportunities and strategies that other people can use they may not have thought of before, and also to promote transparency about the privileges that help some individuals to pursue a creative lifestyle.

A show by artists, for artists, about artists; these wide-ranging conversations shed light on the challenges, victories, and tools of being creative and enjoying a good quality of life at the same time.
